I have personally rented 2 rooms for a longer period of time through Kamernet to my satisfaction, but due to the many responses, I found a neighbor in my street with a small attic room. She has previously provided shelter for 2 students (1 from Italy and 1 from Turkey). One was studying at Leiden University and the other was doing an internship in The Hague at a company.

Her attic room has become available again. One of the students has returned but enjoyed staying with the woman. The landlady has asked me to find someone again who is looking for a room for a maximum of 4 months.

The furnished room is a small attic in the center of Leidschendam with shared use of kitchen and bathroom. The service costs include the use of all household appliances, internet, and utilities. However, tenants are asked to use them sparingly, especially with the high energy costs.

A bicycle is available, and public transport is within walking/biking distance. You can reach the metro to The Hague in 8 minutes and be at Central Station in 8 minutes. The travel time to Leiden depends on the route you take (at least 45 minutes). The supermarket is within walking distance. She lives 10 minutes away from the Mall of The Netherlands, Europe's largest shopping center.the Mall of The Netherlands, Europe's largest shopping mall.
