There is also a frequent commuter train service to Amsterdam from the Almere Muziekwijk station, which takes 30 minutes to the Amsterdam Central Station. A 2-minute walk from the property takes you to a bus stop, to catch a public transport bus into the center of Almere, and to other cities in the area. Another supermarket Plus is within walking distance or only one stop by bus. Residents of the property, who have a bike are allowed to park the bike in the property's garage. As a point of interest - Almere, which has about 300,000 inhabitants is considered one of Europe's most modern cities, and among the 5 most environmentally healthy cities in the Netherlands. For summer fun, several local beaches with picnic areas are near the property, and best of all, they are free, and all accessible by bike or car. For those of you who like hiking nature trails the popular Pampus Hout (The Pampus forest) trails are recommended.
