About the accommodation

Welcome to our charming homestay room, personally curated by your host for a warm and inviting atmosphere. This thoughtfully furnished room offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. You'll have at your disposal a cozy single bed, a spacious wardrobe with a mirror, a TV for entertainment, a desk and a comfortable desk chair for any work or studies, ample shelf space, as well as some chairs and a coffee table to create a relaxing spot in the room. The host has taken special care to add personal touches that make this room even cozier.

Conveniently located on the same floor, you'll find the shared bathroom, complete with a refreshing shower, a sink, and even a washing machine for your laundry needs.

While staying here, you'll also have the pleasure of sharing the common living areas with your welcoming host. Upstairs, the living room offers a comfortable space to unwind, and the dining and kitchen area provides a place to enjoy meals and interact. It's important to note that the living room is available for access until 11 PM, as it becomes the host's bedroom after this time. Additionally, your host has a furry feline friend, so if you're a cat lover, you'll feel right at home.

The host arranges for a cleaning lady to visit every two weeks to maintain the common areas. If you wish to have your room cleaned, this service is available for an additional fee.

Your host is a kind and welcoming individual in his 70s, bringing a wealth of life experiences and a warm, open-hearted personality to your stay. He speaks Dutch and English. With past experience as a BnB host in Costa Rica, he's well-versed in making guests feel comfortable. He enjoys forming connections and sharing his life experiences, making him the perfect host if you're looking for more than just a place to stay. If you appreciate the presence of a fatherly figure, he's eager to be that person for you.

Cooking is one of his passions, and he's excited to extend his hospitality by sharing meals with you. You're warmly welcomed to join him for these heartwarming occasions.

The ideal tenant would be someone open to chatting with the host, sharing stories, and maintaining cleanliness. The host is a smoker and allows the tenant to smoke in their room.

Located in the charming Olofsbuurt neighborhood of Delft, this homestay offers superb accessibility. You can easily reach the tram stop Prinsenhof for tram lines 1 and 19, Delft Station, and the city center on foot. For students at TU Delft University, the campus is just a short 10-minute bike ride away.
