I am passionate about economics and maths, and I enjoy my studies. I am a member of FAECTOR. I am looking for a room, studio or apartment to share with other housemates in Rotterdam. As a person, I am easy-going, open, and friendly, also quiet and disciplined. I am a non-smoker and I do not have pets. Most of the time, I am focused on my studies, while in my leisure time I enjoy playing tennis, table tennis, swimming, going out with friends. I also like to connect with my housemates and to cook and eat together from time to time. If sharing, I deeply respect personal space, believe in clear communication, and keep common areas clean. I prefer a quiet home as I often work from home - while occasional gatherings are totally fine, home is a place for rest, not a party spot. If I’m not alone, I keep noise to a minimum and expect the same, unless we agree otherwise (e.g., playing music). Not every friend makes a good roommate, and not every roommate makes a good friend - I’m totally okay with either dynamic. If we click, I’d enjoy socializing over drinks or good conversation, but if we simply coexist respectfully, that’s great too. My best friend Katja and I are looking for a two bedroom apartament. Both being students of intense courses — Law myself and my friend Chemistry — we are looking for a space we can use to live and study. We both enjoy spending quiet nights in and bike trips on the weekends. After living in a student accommodation for a year we both now know, that what we are looking for is a quite and comfortable space in the contrary to the atmosphere of a “student life”. I’ll be starting my MSc in Information Security Technology at TU/e this August/September, with full support from the ALSP scholarship (covers tuition + annual €7,500 stipend). I graduated top of my class at Marmara University and have been living alone for the past 3.5 years — fully managing my own household and finances. This experience has made me responsible, tidy, and used to taking care of a home on my own. I’m respectful of others’ routines and value calm, clean, and safe environments. I don’t enjoy loud noise for long periods, but I don’t mind occasional lively moments — I usually study with noise-cancelling headphones and won’t be disturbed easily. I’m friendly, open to socializing, but also very comfortable doing my own thing when needed. I’m planning to arrive in July or August, but I’m happy to rent earlier to secure a reliable place in advance. Also, I’ll look for a part-time job and/or internship if I can once I settle in.
